Welcome to the Official 2021 South Florida All Star Marching Band x Miami Dolphins Experience, powered by the Sound Check Foundation!
The Marching Band will be performing during the Miami Dolphins game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, November 28th at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Students will have the opportunity to perform both during the pre-game tailgate as well as during halftime. For this performance we are welcoming high school students from various Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade County school bands to participate. The purpose of the band’s participation in the game is to showcase our tri-county musical collaboration while supporting the Miami Dolphins football team! This is sure to be a performance of a lifetime!
We are excited to bring back this high-profile, collaborative experience, cheering on your Miami Dolphins and performing in front of 65,000+ fans!
Students will come together to rehearse both music and marching for the performance. The scheduled rehearsal dates and times are listed below:
Band Directors are asked to nominate their top performers for this ensemble. Please keep in mind that due to limited space, auditions for sections may take place. We also ask that you send only ONE drum major to participate in this ensemble.
Nominations are due by Friday, October 1st.
Note: Students must be nominated by their directors. Students will receive information once they are nominated and selected for this year’s band.
Each participating director must submit the “Director’s Acknowledgment Form” and is encouraged to assist with the function of the band. These forms will be emailed to the director once nominations close.
